Spring Creeks

The weather plays a big part in fishing success, wherever you are. We are fortunate that regardless of weather conditions, we always have clear water fishing available - either spring creeks or crystal clear alpine lakes.

A summer day, a spring creek.... an a "heavy rain" haven for a fly fisherman!

Two nice fish from the same spring creek....

...on the same day - Tim McGill and wife Sheryl

The West Coast has a number of spring creeks, including the internationally renowned La Fontaine Creek (which is a couple of hours south of us) and the Bruce Stream close to Lake Brunner, see below;

There are a host of smaller and relatively unknown creeks, each of which offers a challenge for the visiting angler.
