Angling Report: Nov 2005 Lake Brunner
region Fly Fishing Report
The weather continued warm and sunny through the first
week of November, but did deteriorate a little after that. A
few cooler days, some rain, and a fresh through the rivers
but still no significant flood. Trout are growing fat and
strong due to an abundance of food sources

The guide takes his ease on a
pretty spring day in November - the flood debris
gives an indication of the river's potential to
disrupt trout life... this particular log was
deposited in February 2004! |

Lunch time on a river beach in
the middle of nowhere - Jim Butterbaugh, New

There is an amazing colour variation
between brown trout, depending on their
location - they change colour at will. |

The middle of the month brought a colder
southerly change, some heavy showers, and some amazing
midge hatches on the Grey River.
