Punakaiki, Pancake Rocks - Paparoa National Park About 45 minutes drive from Lake Brunner are the famous Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki, in Paparoa National Park. The limestone formations, with ocean currents swirling through them, are a great sight at high tide when the blowholes are roaring fiercely.
